USA WRESTLING MEMBERSHIP CARD (purchased once per year Sept 1 to Aug 31)
USA Wrestling, the organization that regulates all wrestling in the United States, requires that all wrestlers purchase a USA Wrestling Card Membership before participating in any USA Wrestling sanctioned events, including club practices, camps, clinics, etc. The membership is for the protection of everyone involved and provides secondary insurance to those with the membership.
YES! You must fill out and sign the registration and waiver forms from Ironside Wrestling in addition to purchasing the required USA Wrestling Athlete Membership. These completed and signed forms will be kept on file with along with a copy of the membership card.
To buy your USA Wrestling Membership Card, please go to https://www.usawmembership.com. The purchase price covers membership for one year; from September 1 through August 31. You may purchase your membership at any time during the year, however, the membership benefits do not apply retroactively and expire at the end of August each year. Your USA Wrestling Membership Card number will remain the same each year.
First go to http://www.usawmembership.com. Then click on the link to have your login information emailed to you. Enter your USA Wrestling ID or email address. If you enter your USA Wrestling ID, the system will email the login information for that USA Wrestling ID to the email address associated with that ID.
Valid for athletes wishing to compete in USA Wrestling sanctioned events and chartered clubs. Membership benefits include secondary, non-duplicating sports accident insurance provided by an outside carrier. There is sports accident supplemental benefits provided to USA Wrestling members who participate in limited non-sanctioned events. In addition to the insurance coverage it includes a one-year subscription to USA Wrestler magazine; the opportunity to compete and take advantage of events, camps, clinics, international exchanges, and club programs; discounts on wrestling gear, equipment and apparel; and other national discount programs as they become available.

If you have already created your profiles, please ensure you affiliate with our "Commack Claw Club" on your wrestlers profile.
Remember, only the wrestler should be obtaining a membership. Their membership type is “Athlete”. They offer multiple levels of memberships depending on what style of wrestling your wrestler is competing in. We require the lowest membership “Athlete Limited Folk style Athlete Membership” the cost of this is $17. Memberships expire every August 31st of every year, regardless of when memberships are purchased.
If you’re having difficulty navigating the site, follow these steps.
After creating an account and signing up, you should see two tabs.
One labeled “Profiles” and the other “Membership”. If your wrestler doesn’t have an account profile made yet for them specifically, please click “Go To Profiles” and click “New Profile”. (This can also be navigated from the “manage” section in the header. Under this tab you’ll find “Profile”, click there). After your wrestler’s profile is created click “Manage Profile”. Once viewing the profile, click on the “Get Membership” button and select the lowest membership “Athlete- Limited Folk style Athlete Membership” the cost of this is $17.
You might have to navigate to your “cart” to finalize payment before receiving your membership ID/proceeding.
